DESCRIPTION

Halquinol is a controlled mixture of chlorhydroxyquinolines.

The constituents act synergistically to enhance biological activity. The antimicrobial effects of Halquinol derives from its ability to chelate metal ions, particularly iron, copper and zinc.

Additionally, Halquinol acts directly on gastrointestinal smooth muscle to slow down peristaltic activity.

Thus absorption of nutrients, particularly in animals suffering from diarrhoea, is enhanced, and performance criteria are improved markedly.

URSODEOXYCHOLIC ACID (UDCA)

APPLICATIONS

Medically used to increase the secretion of bile acid, and to change the composition of bile, reduce cholesterol and cholesterol in bile. It is conducive for the gradual dissolution of cholesterol in gallstones. It can treat gallstones, cholestat-ic liver disease, fatty liver, various types of hepatitis, toxic liver disorders, cholecystitis, cholangitis and biliary indiges-tion, bile reflux gastritis, and eye diseases etc.
